Ubiquitous on American railroads, the EMD GP35 is a 4-axle diesel-electriclocomotive built by EMD and subsequently General Motors Diesel in the mid1960’s.Over 1300 of these locomotives were produced, and they wereoperated by virtually every major railroad in the United States. Addtionally 26 units were built for Canadian railroads and another 57 unitswere built for Mexican railroads.Thesefreight locomotives were powered by EMD 567D3A 16-cylinder engines thatgenerated 2500 horsepower. In our firstproduction, we are modeling ten railroads with prototypically accurate roadnumbers and paint schemes. In addition to the Paragon4 version, each model is available in our Stealth Series. These are No-Sound / DCC-Ready models that operate on DC out ofthe box, or a modeler can easily install their DCC decoder of choice.Out of the box, Front and rear lights are directional, and other lights arealways ON with track power.Additionally some lighting functions maybe missing depending on selected aftermarket decoder the modeler installs.
